A Scarce American Connecticut Arms & Manf. Co. Single Shot Deringer, a.k.a. "Bulldog", circa. 1866-1880's. .44 caliber rimfire with 4" octagon barrel. Breechblock pivots to the left for loading. Iron frame. Marked on the top flat of barrel: "CONNECTICUT ARMS & MANF. CO. NAUBUC CONN. PATENTED OCT 25, 1864" Brown hard rubber grips. A grey gun with no original blue remaining. In good mechanical working order.
