A Rare Antique COLT First Model Deringer, circa. 1870-1890.  .41 rimfire caliber.  Single shot.  2.5" barrel, pivoting down and to the left for loading.  All steel construction (without wooden grips).  All steel surfaces exhibit light salt and pepper rust pitting.  SN#266 out of approx. 6,500 manufactured.  Barrel marked: "COLT'S PT. F.A. MFG Co/ HARTFORD CT. U.S.A./No 1.41 CAL"  In good mechanical working order.
