French Napoleonic Wars Military 'YEAR 9' Flintlock Service Pistol, #2481 Firearms

An Antique French Napoleonic Wars Military Pattern 'YEAR 9' Flintlock Service Pistol, circa. 1790's-1800. 8.5" .70 cal. round iron barrel stamped w/Belgian Proof 'E L G' on the left side of breech. Brass regulation furniture (side plate is an old flat replacement). Unmarked lock. All iron parts have a thick layer of dark age rust patina. Ram rod is a wood replacement. Stock is solid w/minor loses around the lock mortise, scratches and dings from years of service. In good working order. 15.25" overall.

Note; Pistol may have been re-converted back to flintlock or at least the lock has been restored.
