A Good Antique French 'Le Pistolet D'Officer' Model 1816 Flintlock Pistol. 7.7/8" .69 cal. round iron barrel w/small octagon section at breech w/brass bushed touch hole. Lock plate w/remnants of arsenal maker's engraving; 'Mre R le de Chatellerault', brass pan. Regulation brass and iron furniture. Stock is solid w/checkering and with scratches and dings from years of hard service. A nice example in good working order. 14.25" overall.
