War of 1812 US Flintlock Martial Pistol;

A Fantastic & Rare Antique American US Navy Model 1808 Contract Flintlock Ship's Pistol w/belt hook by, 'S. NORTH, BERLIN', TOTAL produced; 3,000, circa.1808-1810. 10 1/8" .68 cal. round iron barrel marked on the extreme left side of breech w/a 'P' and stamped on the top 'U. STATES'. Lock marked; w/'AMERICAN FEDERAL EAGLE', 'U. STATES', 'BERLIN'. Stock is solid w/light scratches and dings from years of service. A very rare US flintlock martial pistol in good mechanical working order. 16.75" overall.

Note; This pistol appears to be original flint but likely professionally reconverted/restored using original period parts.
