English Cased (PAIR) of Full Size Box-Lock Flint Pistols by, BATE, LONDON

An Antique English Cased (PAIR) of Full Size Box-Lock Flint Pistols by; BATE,(Edward), LONDON, circa. 1760-1770 w/accessories. 5.25" .56 cal. round (3) stage steel cannon barrels. 12" overall length. Engraved steel box-lock frame/breech w/maker's name; "BATE" & "LONDON". All steel parts have salt and pepper pitting, some areas worse than others. Sliding trigger guard safety. Both stocks have square engraved wrist escutcheons marked; "13" and "14" and are solid w/normal light scratches and dings from years of service. Both pistols are in good working order.

Case Accessories include; a Fine Small Powder Flask, Bullet Mold, Balls, and Tow.
