An Antique British Flintlock Brass Barrel Blunderbuss by WILSON, LONDON, circa. 1760. 16" Brass Blunderbuss Barrel struck with English Proofs and Barrel Maker mark on the left side of breech and LONDON engraved on the top with decorative engraving. The lock has decorative engraving and maker signed WILSON. All brass furniture with decorative engraving and includes a fantastic panoply-of-arms side plate. The stock is solid with scratches, dings and staining from years of service. The blunderbuss is in its original flintlock configuration. All steel surfaces have salt and pepper rust pitting some areas worse than others. A great example in good mechanical working order.
Note; it is out opinion the cock is a period replacement. The fore-end may have been modified.
