An Attractive and Interesting Antique 2-point Bicorn CHAPEAU BRAS cocked hat, circa. 19th century. Beaver pelt covered with heavy decorative braided periphery gilt edging, twisted gilt wire tubing surrounding a "Flaming Bomb" button. The hat has overall heavy wear with some breaks and loses. The interior retains the original white silk lining. The leather sweat band is missing. A great hat for display !
