Wonderful Early Dutch Flintlock Blunderbuss

A Wonderful Antique Dutch Flintlock Blunderbuss, circa. 1700-1720.  25" steel multi-stage octagon-to-round-to-flaring blunderbuss barrel with light decorative engraving at the breech.  The early extreme banana shaped lock has nice decorative engraving.  The frizzen has been refaced.  All steel furniture.  Steel ram rod.  The stock is solid with a repair just in front of the lock, a replaced chip on the right side of the fore-end, scratches and dings from years of service.  There is an interesting "W" carved at the tail of the barrel tang mortise.  A very attractive example in good mechanical working order.
