An Antique European 16th-17th Century Wheel-lock Carbine. 15.5", .30 caliber steel octagon rifled barrel marked on the sides of the breech "B M". Steel trigger guard, set trigger. Early lock. Stock is solid with decorative bone inlay (some old restorations), missing a few inlays (see photos), with light scratches and dings from years of handling. Replaced wood ram rod. Measures: 26.25" overall. A early example in very good condition considering the age. A worthy candidate for further restoration.
Note; The main spring is missing which can be restored.
