Early British Military Light Dragoon Flintlock Pistol
A Good British Military Light Dragoon Flintlock Pistol most likely from Dublin Castle, c.1775. 9", .68 cal. round steel barrel with remnants of (2) proofs. Pattern regulation furniture. Stock has some age cracks, some wood lose around edges but is solid w/scratches and dings from years of service. Lock marked; a "CROWN" over "GR" (King George III). The pistol is in its original flintlock configuration. All steel/iron parts have salt & pepper pitting (some areas worse than others) with a dark age patina. Brass tipped steel ram rod. 15.5" overall length. In good working mechanical order.
