Early Antique European Short Sword
Early Antique European (maybe French or German) Short Sword, circa. 17th-early 18th century (and possibly later). 23.5" double-edge unmarked blade. Heavy worked and twisted steel cruciform-style cross guard with a very interesting pierced shell-style appointment with a "P" in the center, small angled lemon shape pommel. A very intricate braided copper wire over fabric grip. 30.25" overall length. No scabbard.
Note; It is our opinion that the blade is late 18th-19th century.
