An Antique 17th Century European Wheel-Lock Powder Flask, (most likely Saxon/German). This form of powder flask was used by musketeers throughout Europe. Formed of flattened horn with decorative engraving. All original steel parts (the gate spring is a replacement). Measures; 13" overall length. In good working order. A very good powder flask that is becoming harder and harder to find.
