A Wonderful Antique 17th Century European Match-Lock or Wheel-Lock Powder Flask, (most likely Saxon/German). This form of powder flask was used by musketeers throughout Europe. Formed of flattened horn with decorative engraving and marked with an "R" arsenals mark. All original steel parts. Measures; 13.5" overall length. In good working order. An excellent powder flask that is becoming harder and harder to find.
Note; the spout gate cover has broken off. This can be repaired.
