A Scarce Civil War U.S. Military SPENCER Army Rifle

A Wonderful and Scarce Antique Civil War U.S. Military SPENCER Army Rifle, circa. 1863-1864.  (Total produced estimated at 11,470).  SN# 3922  30”, .52 caliber rifled Barrel.  Light spotty surface rust.  Some areas of salt and pepper from surface rust.  The stock is solid retaining original varnish with light scratches and dings.  A great gun in good mechanical working order.
