An Antique Spanish New World Shipwreck Recovered Silver 2 Reales Cob Coin set in a 14K Gold Bezel.  The coin exhibits minor salt water corrosion.  A great looking coin !

COIN WEIGHT: 6.2 grams.  Total weight with the 14K Gold Bezel 10.9 grams.

GOLD WEIGHT: 4.7 grams of 14K gold.

Provenance: Unfortunately all records have been lost by previous owner.  Said to have been recovered from the 1715 Plate Fleet.

NOTE; Spanish gold and silver coins were legal tender currency throughout the colonies and the new United States until the 1840s.
