A Fine Antique American Revolutionary War Period Large All Brass Box-Lock Flint Pistol by, BUNNEY, LONDON, circa. 1765-1775. 6", .58 caliber brass three-stage round smooth-bore turn-off cannon barrel, breech stamped with (2) "Crossed Scepter" proof marks. Steel trigger guard. The pistol is in its original flintlock configuration. 12" overall length. The wood stock has fine silver wire inlay, an oval silver escutcheon, is solid with light scratches and dings from years of handling. In good mechanical working order. An awesome flintlock pistol in wonderful near new condition !
