A Good Shamshir TULWAR Sword with a Damascus Blade
A Good Antique TULWAR Sword with a Damascus Blade, circa. 18th - 19th century. Most likely made in India, Ceylon (Sri Lanka) or Persia. 30" curved blade with interesting Damascus pattern and is signed (see photos). Steel one-piece grip and incorporated hilt. 35" overall. No scabbard. A very nice looking sword.
Note; These types of swords were used throughout the Persia and the Ottoman Empire and especially the Barbary Coast.
