A Good TULWAR "TEGHA" Broad Saber
A Good Antique TULWAR " TEGHA" Broad Saber, circa. 18th - early 19th century. Most likely made in India, Ceylon (Sri Lanka). Massive very broad 29" curved blade decorated with brass visible on both sides as well as the chiseled steel one-piece grip and hilt. 33.25" overall length.
Note; No scabbard. TEGHA - is a Tulwar hilted saber, with a very broad curved blade. This style was widely used by Muslims, Marathas and Rajputs. There are many references that has this style as an "Executioner's Sword".
