A wonderful clump of (3) Cobs from the 1715 Plate Fleet. Consisting of one, 8 Reales and two, 4 Reales Cobs. All full weight. In July of 1715, a hurricane hit a group of Spanish treasure Galleons off the east coast of central Florida and destroyed 10 of the 12 known ships of the Spanish Fleet loaded with millions in gold and silver and other treasures. A great example from one of the most famous treasure discovery's in history.
