Antique U.S. Military COLT Single Action Artillery Revolver. "U.S." marked on the left side of the frame. 5.5", .45 caliber barrel. Good bore and rifling. In good mechanical working order. Approx. 10% varnish remains on the wood grips with scratches and dings from years of service. Small trace amounts of original blue finish can be seen in protected areas, the balance of the gun is grey.

Trigger guard SN#139666 (1891), Inspector mark "K"
Back strap SN#9713 (1874), inspector mark "A" (Ainsworth)
Barrel address: "COLT'S PT. F. A. MFG, Co. HARTFORD, CT. U.S.A."
Note; Cylinder has remnants of a serial number. The action is good but could use some adjustment.
