Antique Copper/Bronze Breastplate #3165

An Antique Copper/Bronze Breastplate in the style of the classic Greek or Corinthian forms of 300 B.C.E., made circa. 16th - 18th century. High relief decorative embossed designs with (2) flying Pegasus. These types of armor elements were made for battle and for theatrical events in places such as the coliseum in Rome and amphitheaters throughout Europe during the classical periods. Nice patina and great for display.
