A Decorative Table Top Trinket Box with an inset bronze high relief oval plaque depicting a village party scene with a fiddle player atop a barrel, people dancing, a card game, and a man taking a leak in the corner !  Circa. early 20th century.

Burl walnut veneer wood box measures: 6.5" wide X 2.75" high X 5" deep.

Gilt Brass edging around the periphery of lid.  Brass feet.

Note; the interior has been relined.
