A Great Looking Modern Made Persian/Indian Helmet and Shield. Made of steel.
The shield "Separ" or "Target" measures 17" in diameter with a padded reverse.
The Helmet "Kulah Khud" measures 9" in diameter with a padded head liner.
The shield and the helmet have decorative silver "koftgari" overlay (very thin unlike examples made in the 18th-19th century).
Provenance: Cannot be proven but... These came in with a small collection of movie props and are said to have been used in the 2005 movie "KINGDOM OF HEAVEN" starring Eva Green, Orlando Bloom, and Liam Neeson. Sold as is... Similar examples can often be found on Ebay.
