Brass tipped ram rod. The stock is solid with a period repaired cracked piece of wood on the right side of the barrel tang; a small chip missing from the right side of fore-end at the upper edge; some stress cracks; scratches and dings from years of service. In good working mechanical order. 30.5" overall length.
Note; These weapons were perfect for Coach defense and were the weapon of choice on the ships of the day because of their size (close quarter fighting) and being able to fire just about anything one could load it with !!! (Glass, rocks, nails and lead shot were the most effective).
