A Good Antique Cup Hilt Rapier Sword most likely Spanish or Italian, circa. 17th century. 38" double edge blade. Decorative raised cameo relief etching on the cup hilt/guard; twisted wire grip. Steel hilt including a pair of writhen quillons with button terminals, knuckle-guard formed 'en suite', 45.75" overall. Deep age patina.
