A Fantastic Antique 17th Century European Wheel Lock Mechanism, circa. 1600. 9 7/8" lock plate with a gilded copper or brass external wheel cover with decorative engraving (may be an armorial design to a family). 13.5" overall length. A very rare large wheel lock mechanism that is all original, complete and in good mechanical working order.
