Interesting European Dagger with Leather Scabbard, #3221 Edged Weapons

A very interesting European Dagger with Leather Scabbard, circa, early 19th century. 11" double-edged blade with raised central fuller ridge. Segmented mother-of-Pearl panel grip with silver bands; lower appears to be gold or gold plated; brass guard; pommel of cast brass in the shape of a knights helmet. Ceremonial or commemorative ? 16.75" overall.
