A Fantastic Gilt Silver Stocked Flintlock Horse Pistol, circa. 18th Century. 13.75" .60-62 cal. octagon-to-round steel barrel w/fantastic deep decorative engraving on the top breech section w/gold inlaid fields. Lock w/decorative engraving. The stock and furniture are entirely made of engraved and high relief gilt silver; . 21" overall length ! This type of pistol is of French or Dutch in origin and made for the wealthiest in the Ottoman Empire. In good working order.
