An Interesting Antique Belt Dagger with Damascus Blade, circa. late 18th - early 19th century.  5.25" single edge Damascus blade.  Gilt German silver or nickel scabbard with high-relief decoration of foliage, scrolls, punch dots, and, mythical beast heads.  Solid Gilt German silver or nickel grip with high relief decoration of an unidentified bust portrait and unsigned oval for a monogram.  Sterling Silver guard and pommel button.  A very unusual belt dagger.
