Reprint of an April 21, 1880, Vol. VIII, No. 92, magazine story on “BUFFALO BILL, THE BUCKSKIN KING; OR, THE AMAZON OF THE WEST,” by Major Dangerfield Burr, 5th Cavalry, U.S. Army, 12” x 8.5”, saddle-stitched pictoral wrapper with a woodcut of Buffalo Bill shaking hands with Lord Varian. This is a very clean reproduction of the original 1880 magazine, right down to the old bookseller’s rubberstamp on the cover (the rubberstamp was reproduced in black ink along with cover and the inside pages). The pages are evenly toned and in sharp condition. A unique Buffalo Bill item, nevertheless..
