(2) Antique English Box-Lock Flint Pistols almost forming a matched pair, owned by the same person, circa. 1780-1815. 1.1/8" .50 cal. round iron turn-off barrels struck w/(2) PROOFS. All iron box-lock frames. Top mounted sliding safety's. Stocks are solid w/owner's name stamped on the right side of each grip, 'C. REEVE', w/ scratches and dings from years of handling. Both pistols are in good working order. 6.5" overall.
Note; One pistol is made by; 'RICHARDSON, MANCHESTER', the other by; 'BELLES', master furbisher, Tower of London, 1793-1820.
