$ 10,750.00

A Rare Large Antique Dutch Flintlock Wender Holster Pistol, circa. 1670-1690.  12", .62 caliber steel two-stage round smooth-bore barrels stamped with (2) unidentified proof marks (could be Jan Van Solingen).  Steel furniture.  All steel parts have salt & pepper pitting (some areas worse than others).  The pistol is in its original flintlock configuration.    20.75" overall length.  The wood stock is solid with light scratches and dings from years of handling.  In good mechanical working order.  An awesome large double barrel flintlock pistol !

Note: The barrel assembly rotates when a spring button is pushed just in front of the bow of the trigger guard.

*The RED background are up-dated photos.  I was extremely lucky to acquire the proper period correct cock (hammer) !  The cock that came on the pistol when we purchased it, is an 18th century replacement.
