These prints are steel engravings produced during the 1800’s, ranging in size from 7.5” x 4.5” to 10.75” x 8” with blank backs removed from books or other publications.1.ELI WHITNEY, large print dated 1867, published by Johnson, Fry & Company, from a painting by Chappel, excellent condition, with a small damp stain in the top margin and some light toning along the bottom margin.2. ROGER SHERMAN, engraved by Oliver Pelton, after a painting by Earle, very nice condition, aside from small tears in the edges, could be trimmed and framed.3. PHILIP SCHUYLER, unsigned print published by Mason Brothers of New York, excellent condition aside from binding remnants along the right edge.4.
