A Fantastic English flintlock sword pistol, circa. 1730-1750. 25" single edge blade (double edged first 7.5"); mounted w/a single shot box-lock flint pistol action struck on the bottom w/(2) oval PROOFS and unidentified maker's mark; (2 1/8", .42 cal. round barrel w/cannon muzzle). Steel guard/hilt w/fluted shell and pommel. Horn grip. 30" overall length. No scabbard. A scarce early sword pistol in good working order. The ultimate Pirate weapon !!!!
