An Ottoman Empire Flintlock "DAG" Blunderbuss Pistol
An antique Ottoman Empire flintlock “Dag” blunderbuss pistol coveted by the Barbary Coast pirates, circa. 1780-1830. 10.75” iron blunderbuss barrel with flaring muzzle. Convex lock plate with simple decorative engraving. The gun is in its original flintlock configuration. All brass furniture. The stock has had some restoration. Overall, the stock (as restored) is solid with light scratches and dings from handling and is in good mechanical working order.
RESTORATION - The stock has had wood restoration on the right side of the for-end as well as just above the rear of the lock plate.
