A Good Antique British or American Iron Ship's Swivel Cannon, circa. 1760-1780. 27.5" overall length with a 1.5" bore. This is about the largest of the cannon made to be swivel guns. Type used in the French & Indian War - American Revolution and the War or 1812. The cannon comes with the wood display stand in photos.
Note; the following are restorations: The iron post & yoke, tiller and rest are all modern made by a professional blacksmith.
