Wonderful 17th Century Stone Bow

A Wonderful Antique Italian/German stone bow, circa. 17th Century.  The steel bow measures 28.5" wide fitted with proper string of twisted cord incorporating a pocket for pellets.  Stock is fitted with a fixed iron fore-sight pillars.  32" overall length.  The wood stock (cracked and repaired) has decorative carvings with engraved bone inlays; butt/shoulder part of stock decorated with inlaid scrolls, dots, and engraved bone panels with center medallion depicting a nobleman.  Untouched for a very long time.  All steel parts have a coating of surface rust (can be cleaned).  A great looking stone bow !
