An Antique British Flintlock Militia Musket made up of some older parts, circa. 1800. 39", .75 cal smooth-bore barrel struck with British Proof marks on the top of breech. All brass furniture conforming to the British Ordnance Late 3rd. Model Brown Bess pattern, 2nd. model Brown Bess trigger guard. The musket is in its original flintlock configuration. The lock is marked TOWER PROOF and an engraved CROWN. The stock is solid with scratches,dings and staining from years of service. In good mechanical working order.
Note; part of the barrel tang is missing.
