Antique European (maybe French or German) Short Sword, circa. late 18th-early 19th century. 19.25" double-edge blade. Solid brass one-piece guard with grip has a dark yellow to olive color age patina. No scabbard.
Note; The form is very similar to the ancient Roman Gladius sword.
