A Good Untouched Napoleonic War and American War of 1812 Antique French Military Model Year 'An XIII' (1804) Flintlock Service Pistol, circa. dated 1812. 8" .69 cal. barrel dated '1812'. In original flintlock configuration. Original ram rod. Brass regulation furniture. Lock is marked; 'Manif Imp de St. Etienne' (French Arsenal at Saint Etienne). The stock is marked on the right side of grip 'P. B. 1812' and has an unidentified stamp vertically just behind the rear side nail (screw); has a horizontal stress crack in front of the lock plate, otherwise is solid with light scratches and dings from years of service. All iron parts have a dark rust age patina. All brass parts have a dark yellow/olive age patina. In good working mechanical order. 14.5" overall.
